VATH just launched its post-sale program for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK, gives power to all engines in their lineup. VATH Automobiltechnik GmbH wants to "give wings to your car, and your post-sales program for the Mercedes-Benz SLK, they do that and more. Tuners from Germany gave the new SLK Roadster generating some large performance improvements the two squares in the range of the base model engines.Starting, VATH SLK200 gave 184hp up to 210hp lump and 229 lb-ft of torque at a maximum speed of 150 mph.
The Mercedes-Benz SLK250 is boosted to 205hp 244hp and 266 pound feet of torque at a maximum speed of 155 mph and finally the range-topping V6 (except AMG V8 model) SLK350 is powered up to 330hp and 287 lb-ft of torque at a maximum speed of German 167mph.The latest project has a carbon front spoiler, rear spoiler and rear diffuser. Larger brakes were also added, along with AMG-ish exhaust pipes and a new instrument panel and aluminum sport pedals add further luster of Mercedes. Finished in black and mounted on a lowered suspension, the Benz is tuned into a set of 20-inch wheels. Prices have not been announced.
